Kids Street Art Workshop

Join experienced art and design educator Bill Tink for fun and unique workshops where you take home a finished product. Suitable for ages 5-13. Prices include tuition and materials.

Paint a street art design on a canvas board, use paint pens, brushes and stencils to produce your own street art work (be warned this one is a little messy).  Places are limited, bookings essential.

Join experienced weaver and fibre artist Lanny Mackenzie in weaving a bag made from natural or recycled materials. You’ll be taught the versatile twining method of weaving. Twined weaving refers to using multiple materials, one that is more rigid for the base and another two that are more flexible for the sides of the basket. All materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own to incorporate into your piece.

Loom Weaving Workshop

This workshop is for beginners but will also be great fun for someone who's tried their hand at weaving before.  You'll be taught several different weaving techniques that create different textural effects including tabby, rya and soumak. Woven Wall Hangings can be so versatile and beautiful!.  All different kinds of materials, fibres and other objects can be used to create your very own one-of-a-kind textile artwork!  There are so many techniques to use to create all kinds of textures and patterns.
