Chris de Hoog

Chris de Hoog is an artist from Geelong, Victoria. His work is abstract and inspired by memories and impressions of nature. He finds inspiration in his home town by running around the local river and heading to the beautiful beaches nearby. Chris is a professional graphic designer who finds the freedom of expression that comes with painting impossible to resist. He loves exploring new techniques in his painting and experimenting with new colour combinations. He is married to Amie and they have 4 kids. He hopes his work brings joy, colour and a small reflection of the natural world into people’s lives wherever they end up.
