Amanda paints in oils in her home studio creating still life and interiors inspired by the beauty and calm of the familiar. Personal memories are embedded in each imagined interior by placement of treasures and items within each piece. Amanda takes delight in using natural or man made light sources within her interiors to build atmosphere and a sense of cosy comfort. Amanda has been a finalist in the Unearthed Art Prize, Lethbridge 20000 Salon, The Little Things Art Prize and been chosen to exhibit in multiple group shows.

This series of three works are everyday environments which begin with a simple line on a page, outlining the internal space. Sketching multiple pieces at a time allows Amanda to gain a feeling about the interior then continuing to evolve the piece intuitively once painting the canvas. Small details and elements fill the canvas, with the aim being to evoke nostalgic memories or a connection to current life situations or place for the viewer.

We charge a flat rate of $35 for all artworks within Australia, with an additional $5 added for each extra artwork purchased through our online store. All artworks are insured and come safely packaged. Any artwork marked for CUSTOM SHIPPING is either too large, too heavy or too delicate to ship with our flat rate and will need a custom shipping invoice.
