Amanda feels a genuine connection with her environment and her paintings are a direct response to the world she experiences. Whether it is the changing seasons or the everyday, she is inspired to capture this visual expression of modern life. 

 An adoration for masterful painters led her to begin studying traditional techniques and even though she considers herself primarily a self-taught painter, she undertook workshops in Florence Italy over a 4 year duration. This gave her a great starting point for developing her skills back in Australia. 

A Bachelor of Interior Architecture and an Associate Diploma in Visual Art all helped install a sense of learning and applied determination to studying oil painting techniques. 

 Amanda showed a very keen interest in drawing and painting from a very early age and this continued to develop and turned into a passionate endeavour to paint professionally. Amanda has been seriously painting for 10 years with an unwavering determination to produce quality representational art. 

Amanda's painting has continued to evolve and moving towards a direct approach which capture the energy and vitality of a moment, passing light or a living thing. She loves working from life and like the French Impressionist before she loves en plein air painting, being outside painting light and nature is where she has learnt so much about 'seeing' and determining the information necessary the depict what she loves. 

Only in the last few years has she began selling and exhibiting her work, preferring to work on developing a strong foundation before venturing into growing her 'painting business'. She wanted sound products, that were affordable, thoughtfully created and timeless. Amanda, her husband, son and Italian Greyhound settled in the Barossa Valley, South Australia where she finds an endless supply of inspiration in her garden and from her picturesque surroundings.

Artwork is available for collection or shipping within 7 days of purchase.

We charge a flat rate of $35 for all artworks within Australia, with an additional $5 added for each extra artwork purchased through our online store. All artworks are insured and come safely packaged. Any artwork marked for CUSTOM SHIPPING is either too large, too heavy or too delicate to ship with our flat rate and will need a custom shipping invoice.

All online artwork sales are final and no refunds or returns will be accepted.
