The Corner Store Gallery first began as a way to connect regional communities and emerging artists and designers in one of NSW’s premier food and wine destinations. Established in 2014, the boutique gallery housed in a heritage former corner store, is an independently run creative space that supports emerging and established artists and designers from a diverse range of creative mediums — providing an array of workshops, pop ups, and community events.
The Corner Store Gallery profiles the best of established and emerging Australian creatives, with curator Madeline Young seeking out colourful and visually arresting aesthetics in either art or design. As an artist herself, Madeline pursues opportunities outside of the established Regional Gallery or informal market stall channels to reach new artists, creators, and audiences.
The Corner Store Gallery brings together artists and designers from all over Australia to join the gallery’s creative community, as it rightly takes a seat as one of Australia’s most popular emerging and collaborative art spaces. Find out more about the gallery here.

The Corner Store Gallery was established in 2014 and has been providing a blank canvas for artists and designers from all over Australia to showcase their work for over 7 years. We are a small, independently run space located in the thriving regional community of Orange in NSW. Housed within an old corner store built over 100 years ago, the gallery space is bright and intimate with large windows providing beautiful natural light and great street frontage on a busy corner.
The Corner Store Gallery aims to promote the practice of contemporary art and design from across all types of creative mediums. We hope to share our love of the creative process and its products with the community of Orange and the Central West. We offer a wide range of flexible gallery rental options for artists and designers from all over Australia. The gallery is looking for exhibitions, popups and workshops, applications showing a comprehensive body of work with high quality photos will be considered. Please see information packs below.

The Small Print
The Corner Store Gallery takes a 33% commission on all artwork sales. This includes GST.
Exhibitions are now rent free.
Rental fees apply to pop up shops and workshops, contact Madi for more information.
We require artists, once their proposal has been accepted, to sign an artist agreement outlining artist and gallery's rights and responsibilities.

Exhibition opening events for group and solo exhibitions, beverages included. Optional catering is charged to the artist.
Documentation of exhibition and archiving on gallery website
