From the very basics like composition and focus all the way through to editing, styling and layout ideas.You’ll get lots of hands-on, physical practice as well as a discussion and idea swapping with a like-minded individual.

About the Program: Join Gallery director and practicing artist Madeline Young for a 3 hour one-on-one intensive and learn “How to photograph your artwork with a smartphone” AND “Social media content ideas for artists and creatives”. Photography is SO IMPORTANT in today’s online society. If your imagery is not up to scratch galleries, customers and followers will pass you by!

 What to Bring: A small artwork you’ve made (roughly A3 or smaller), your smartphone or tablet, a smartphone tripod (if you have one), and a list of 3-5 of your favourite artists on Instagram

Madeline Young is the director of The Corner Store Gallery and a successful practicing artist. She has a degree in Fine Arts and over 16 years experience teaching art and craft workshops and classes to children and adults. Madeline has been photographing artworks and artists since opening The Corner Store Gallery in 2014 and loves sharing tips and tricks with others!
