Life is chaotic and challenging at times. Ease represents a way of intention leading into 2026. Akin to the complexities in painting this artwork, with its reflections, distortions and intricacies of the fruit, the purpose is to acknowledge and breathe. To live with the tangles that life brings whilst choosing to focus on letting the simple things shine. Remembering they are still there, waiting to be appreciated and held close.

Exhale is an artwork in an ongoing exploration of the properties of glass. Painting elements to still be visible, yet at times, distorted and blurred. Ribbon wound tightly, wrapping the glass is akin to a personal feeling of control in a chaotic world. The contrast between vulnerability and resilience in life can be a tricky balance. Exhale is an invitation to breathe, slow down and maintain gratitude for the simplest things.
