I’m Madeline, an artist, curator, and gallery director with over 10 years of experience working alongside emerging and established artists. I understand the challenges that come with putting your work into the world. That’s why everything we offer, from mentoring and exhibition opportunities to our onsite artist residency, is designed to be supportive, practical, and personal.

Artist Mentoring & Support
At The Corner Store Gallery, we offer personalised mentoring and creative support to help artists grow their practice, build confidence, and promote their work professionally. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your approach, we provide friendly, practical advice that meets you where you are, in person or remotely.

      Sometimes you just need someone in your corner, someone who gets the art world and can help you make the next move with clarity and confidence. In these one-on-one sessions, we can focus on: - Pricing and presenting your work 
- Artistic direction and critique 
- Writing your artist statement 
- Building a consistent online presence 
- Preparing for an exhibition or opportunity 
- Navigating imposter syndrome and burnout 
 Sessions are practical, supportive, and tailored to you. In-person or Zoom. $190 for first initial session 1.5 hrs, $110 per follow up session (1 hour) / 3-session package $390

We offer a range of flexible options tailored for artists who want clean, consistent images of their work. Artwork Photography Packages: - Up to 10 works – $250 
- 10 - 20 works – $400 
- Per artwork (1 - 3) – $35 each 
 Includes: - High-resolution images suitable for print and web 
- Detail shots and clean crops 
- Lighting and editing for accurate colour representation 
- Both flat and in-situ options available 
- Files delivered via Dropbox (or USB if preferred)

      - Solo or group exhibition install photography - from $300 
- Includes full-room views, selected close-ups, and styled documentation for websites, press kits or archives.

      Let your audience see where the magic happens. A relaxed, documentary-style photoshoot in your studio or workspace, perfect for website bios, social media, and press kits. - A mix of portrait-style shots, behind-the-scenes details, tools, works-in-progress, and space images 
- 15 - 25 edited images delivered in high-resolution 
- Lightly styled to suit your aesthetic and brand 
- Optional add-on: Artist Interview for Blogs or Socials – $100

      Want to do it yourself? We also offer a “Photograph Your Art With Your iPhone” mentoring session: - One-on-one workshop (in-person or Zoom) 
- Learn how to use natural light, edit on your phone, and avoid common mistakes 
- Includes tips and tricks from a professional 
 From $190 for initial session (1.5 hours) $110 per hour for follow up.

      Support to professionally present your work outside our gallery. - Consult Only (Zoom or in-person): $190/1.5 hours 
 Advice on selection, collaboration, suitable gallery or other spaces, applications, layout, pricing, framing or install.
- Planning & Layout Prep: from $220 
 Includes review of artworks, layout plan and install tips (2 hours).
- On-site Install Support: from $440 (up to 4 hours) 
 Full curation and install at your venue (local only). Travel fees may apply.

      If you're not local, no problem, we offer all our mentoring and creative support services via Zoom, where practical. - One-on-one mentoring sessions

      Do I need to be an established artist to book a session? 
 Not at all! These sessions are designed for artists at any stage, whether you're just starting out or already exhibiting regularly.Can I book a one-off mentoring session? 
 Yes. Many artists start with a single session and then book more later if they want to dive deeper.Can we do everything over Zoom? 
 Yes! Most services, including mentoring, strategy, and content planning, can be done remotely. We'll just ask for any images or documents ahead of time.What if I don't like being on camera or filmed? 
 That’s totally fine! We’ll work with whatever you’re comfortable with and find a style that suits you, whether that’s photos only, hands-only process reels, or written content.Can I build my own package? 
 Absolutely. If you'd like to mix photography, mentoring, and content in a way that suits your needs, just get in touch and we’ll work out a custom quote.How do I book or get started?
