OVERVIEW
Artists across Australia are invited to submit a cohesive three-piece series in any medium (excluding video) for judging by a panel of experts. The winner will receive a solo exhibition at The Corner Store Gallery in 2026. Two Highly Commended awards will also be awarded an online exhibition in 2026 each, and be invited to become part of our stable.
Open to emerging and professional artists who have not previously had a solo exhibition with us or been a Mini Series Art Prize finalist. The exhibition will feature the most exciting and original works submitted.
Your three-piece series can mix mediums (e.g., painting, mixed media, ceramics) but should explore a unified theme. Selected artists will have their work exhibited, with the winner announced on Opening Night.
ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS
Artists are invited to submit three artworks as part of a “mini” series.
Artworks within the series can be of any medium (excluding video).
Artworks must not exceed the size limit of 80cm EACH in any direction.
Artworks will be selected on the following qualities:
Originality, creativity, concept, quality of work, skill shown, marketability, compatibility with our audience.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Entry fee: $60 per artist (not refundable)
Entries Close: June 27th at midnight 2025
Successful entrants notified: June 30th 2025
Delivery of artworks: in person between 10am and 4pm July 18th OR by July 18th by courier or post.
Exhibition Dates: August 6th – 17th 2025
Opening Night and Winner Announcement: Friday August 8th 6pm
PRIZES
The overall winner will receive a solo exhibition with us in 2026 and have the opportunity to join our regular stable.
Two Highly Commended artists will be awarded online exhibitions each and will have the opportunity to join our stable and exhibit with us regularly.

Are all mediums accepted? NO we do not accept video works, all other mediums accepted.
Can I submit more than 3 artworks? NO each submission must be 3 artworks, no more and no less.
Is there a size limit? YES, artworks may not exceed 80cm in any direction

Judges
Madeline Young, Director of The Corner Store Gallery
Madeline Young is the founder and curator of The Corner Store Gallery in Orange, NSW.
An artist and arts advocate, she opened the gallery in 2014 to support and showcase Australian creatives. Her work is driven by a deep connection to regional arts and a passion for building community through thoughtful curation.
Belinda Hungerford, Curator & Exhibition Coordinator at Orange Regional Gallery.
Belinda brings extensive curatorial experience from roles at the New England Regional Art Museum, the State Library of NSW, and the Australian Centre for Photography. Originally from Sydney, Belinda holds an Honours degree in Art History and Curatorship from ANU and recently relocated to the Central West.
Calina MacGinley Jamieson, Exhibitions Officer BRAG
Calina MacGinley Jamieson is an emerging exhibitions professional working at Bathurst Regional Art Gallery on Wiradyuri Country. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UNSW where she explored the creative reuse and repair of textiles and was shortlisted for the Jenny Birt Award in 2020 and 2021. She has a keen interest in sustainable and circular artmaking practices and material focused works.
