2018 Wrap Up

Well, that was a big one….. I know a lot you can’t believe how quickly this year has gone and I’m right there with you! And what a fantastic, dynamic year we’ve had here at the gallery for our 5th year in business. We moved in to our new home behind the gallery, (I’ll be publishing a blog post with pictures in January if you want a little sticky beak). I had a baby. Kind of a big deal…. His name is Magnus, he’s quite lovely. And while I was on maternity leave we trialled The Artist Run Gallery Program where artists and designers from all over Australia took over the gallery for 1 or 2 weeks to showcase their work through exhibitions, popups, open studios and workshops. It was a fantastic success and we couldn’t be happier with the varied range and quality of events. For a closer look at our past events head here to our PAST EVENTS PAGE.

We’ll be doing a bit of re-branding over the Summer while the gallery is closed, as well as freshening up the website. We’re taking a break during January while you’re all sunning yourselves at the coast and will be launching into 2019 after Australia Day with the annual 8x10 Group Show.

We’ve already scheduled exhibitions, popups and workshops up until July 2019. If you’re interested in renting our space for the latter half of 2019 get in touch or see our flexible rental options on the website. We provide a blank canvas for artists and designers of all mediums and genres to showcase their work, products and ideas. Our beautiful, bright and intimate space has hosted all kinds of work and events. Find out more today.
