Phoebe Turner is a ceramic artist based on the far-south coast of NSW whose practice explores memory, material, and the natural world. Raised by a potter, her early experiences with clay - particularly raku firings in a makeshift kiln - continue to inform her tactile approach. Now in her 40s, she has reconnected with ceramics through experimentation with clay bodies and handmade glazes. Her current work focuses on organic vase forms that echo natural landscapes. Each piece is autobiographical, holding traces of time, place, and personal history.
