GOST Gallery Swap Exhibition

Online Sales launch: Thursday April 16th at 8pm

An initiative by Gallery of Small Things (GOST) in partnership with The Corner Store Gallery (TCSG).

PLEASE NOTE: this will be an online exhibition only due to the current crisis.

This exhibition will be held in two locations: GOST, Canberra and The Corner Store Gallery in Orange. The Directors of both galleries have curated a group exhibition of their local artists to send to the other gallery. This opportunity allows artists to engage with new audiences and vice versa for audiences to see new artists.

The Owner of GOST Anne Masters and Owner of TCSG Madeline Young met in 2019 and realized how similar their businesses were supporting artists in their professional arts practices. The spaces are independently run with a focus to exhibit artists from locals to all over Australia. Both owners have their galleries located within walking distance of their home and fitting in seamlessly with the local community. While each gallery has unique programs the only small difference is the size. The GOST gallery is less than 6 meters’ square and will turn 2 in September 2019. The Corner Store Gallery is about 32 meters’ square and will celebrate its 5th birthday in August 2019.
