Join us for Open Studio Day on Saturday May 16 from 10am–3pm, when participating local artists across the region open their studios to the public for a special day of discovery, connection and creativity.
This is a rare opportunity to step inside working studios, meet artists in person, and experience where the work is made. From bold contemporary abstraction to detailed interiors, still life and expressive colour-driven painting, each studio offers a unique insight into the artist’s practice and process.
The Local Artist Trail invites you to explore multiple studios throughout the day, creating your own journey through the region’s vibrant creative community. Along the way, you’ll hear directly from artists about their work, see new bodies of work in progress, and have the chance to purchase original artworks directly from the studio.
Open Studio Day is about more than viewing art — it’s about connection. Connection to place, to process, and to the people behind the work. It’s a celebration of the artists who help shape the cultural life of our region, and a chance for visitors to engage with creativity in an open and welcoming way.
