This morning I attended one of the Small Worlds Watercolour Workshops with one of our favourite exhibiting artists Ingrid Bowen. Ingrid just finished up a week long residency here at The Corner Store Gallery as part of our special Artist Run Gallery Program. The gallery served as a working studio for Ingrid all week long as well as a workshop and exhibition space. Students were instructed to create a painting exploring the theme of "small worlds", something Ingrid does on a regular basis. Ingrid is a fabulous teacher and gave us all lots of practical advice and everyone went home with their own beautiful, tiny, unique framed painting!
