The Corner Store Gallery, with the support of Sale Street Real Estate and Quest Apartments Orange, is proud to present the Regional Art Prize 2026, celebrating the diversity, creativity and talent of artists living and working in regional, rural and remote Australia.
Formerly the Regional Landscape Prize, the Regional Art Prize has evolved to embrace the full breadth of regional artistic practice. Artists are invited to submit original work exploring any subject, in any style or medium (excluding video).
Open to both emerging and established artists, the prize creates meaningful opportunities through cash awards, acquisitions, residencies and professional development.
Entries close Monday 27 July 2026.

The Regional Art Prize celebrates artists living and working in regional, rural and remote Australia.
Presented by The Corner Store Gallery in Orange, NSW, with the support of Sale Street Real Estate and Quest Apartments Orange, the finalist exhibition showcases a curated selection of original artworks from across the country, highlighting the creativity and diversity of regional artistic practice.
Artists may submit up to two artworks, with a maximum of one artwork per artist selected for the finalist exhibition.

Regional Art Prize – Major Award
$3,000 cash prize sponsored by Sale Street Real Estate, judged by an independent panel of two judges.Sale Street Real Estate Acquisition Award
A $2,000 acquisition award. The selected artwork will become part of The Sale Street Collection and the successful artist will receive the full $2,000 acquisition value with no gallery commission deducted.Quest Orange Landscape Residency Award
A two-week artist residency at Quest Apartments Orange during 2027, awarded to an artist working with landscape themes.The Corner Store Gallery Emerging Artist Award
Awarded to an outstanding emerging artist who has not previously held a solo exhibition in a commercial or public art gallery.The recipient will receive 12 months' gallery representation, a dedicated online exhibition in early 2027, professional mentoring and promotional support.

Artists may submit up to two artworks.
Maximum size: 100cm in any direction (including frame).
All mediums accepted except video.
Artwork must have been completed within the past two years.
All artworks must be available for sale.

There is no entry fee.
Successful finalists will be invoiced a non-refundable $30 Finalist Exhibition Fee.
Artists may nominate to be considered for the Quest Orange Landscape Residency Award and/or The Corner Store Gallery Emerging Artist Award during the application process.
Entry images should accurately represent the submitted artwork.

All finalist artworks must be available for sale.
Gallery commission applies to all sales:
40% commission for artists who are not GST registered.
37% commission for artists who are GST registered.
The Sale Street Real Estate Acquisition Award is exempt from gallery commission. The successful artist receives the full $2,000 acquisition value.
