Contact us about personal payment plans and Layby.
Amanda is an emerging artist living and working in the Barossa Valley, South Australia. She grew up in a small regional town in Northern Victoria and from a very early age had an avid interest in art and painting. She began a Fine Arts Degree but changed to Interior Architecture in Adelaide however she never stopped painting and drawing. Amanda considers herself a self-taught artist and about ten years ago she decided to seriously pursue painting. She has been fortunate to have undertaken a series of summer workshops in Italy at The Florence Academy. These experiences ignited a passionate pursuit of traditional methodologies, impressionistic art which culminated in her own unique vision.
Amanda’s beautifully orchestrated oil paintings convey a strong sense of vitality, full of lush brushstrokes, vibrant colours and a sensitive timeless expression.
“A still life painting may be still but it should always be full of life and this is the challenge of still life painting.”
