It was a piece of pink orthoclase from central Australia that ignited my fascination with using found (and dug!) materials in my ceramic practice. The unpredictable alchemy of mud and fire allows me to indulge in never ending experimentation. Knowing the origin of the materials used to create a pot (or wall piece) brings me into a sense of collaboration with the earth that is deeply satisfying.

Artwork is available for collection or shipping after the closing date of the exhibition, March 8th 2026.
