I am an artist based in Maitland, New South Wales. I work primarily in painting, with drawing forming an expanded and ongoing part of my practice. Across both mediums, my work explores vulnerability, self-reflection and the parts of the human experience that often go unspoken.

At the centre of my practice is the belief that art functions as a reflection of the artist. I am interested in honesty over perfection and I work with worn brushes and pens that resist precise control. These tools introduce hesitation, unevenness, and error. Rather than correcting these marks, I allow them to remain visible, absorbing them into the work as evidence of process and my decision making. I believe mistakes are not something to be hidden but something to be acknowledged as part of being human.

My paintings and drawings are characterised by loose, expressive linework and poetic titles. I use simple imagery, visual puns and subtle deadpan humour as a way to approach complex emotional ideas without over-explaining them. The work aims to be open rather than directive, inviting reflection and recognition - and, most importantly, leaving space for the viewer to bring their own experiences, feelings and interpretations into the work.
