Helen is an abstract artist living and working in Orange, NSW. Her practice is shaped by exploring natural environments and travel, drawing inspiration from landscapes observed, remembered, and photographed. She is particularly interested in moments of transition—where colour, texture, and pattern are transforming.
Working across watercolour, ink, dry pigment, and charcoal, Helen layers materials to explore texture, mark-making, and form. These processes allow her to respond to the landscape and its quiet transformations.
'Forgotten Life' examines the stillness and skeletal remnants of a place that once held presence and meaning.
