Jan fills her handmade diaries with sketches and notes either plein air or at day's end while cycling, this time along the Lavender Trail in South Australia. Back in the studio Jan renders her collages inspired by moments, aromas, the environment, weather and emotions. Jan's collages are pasted on artboard and sealed with varnish. The Caran d'Ache oil crayons have a very high rating of colour strength and light fastness.
