Jo Garner - Stolen Moments
Jo Garner, Stolen Moments
Collage and Assemblage, 30x22cm
Contact us about personal payment plans and Layby.
Jo is a mixed-media artist working with mosaic, assemblage, collage, and print. They began their creative journey back in 2008 with a simple mosaics course, gradually expanding into more layered and experimental approaches over the years.
Living in a throwaway world, Jo’s work invites us to slow down and look again at what we usually discard and overlook. They collect papers from a range of sources including, vintage books, old games, magazines, and their own hand-printed paper.
This piece uses vintage paper dolls to explore the uncomfortable reality of how girls and women are often watched, judged, and exposed. It reflects on voyeurism and the ways photography can cross boundaries—violating privacy, consent, and personal agency—while asking viewers to think more deeply about what it means to look, and to be looked at.
Shipping:
Artwork is available for collection or shipping after the closing date of the exhibition, March 8th 2026.
This piece can be shipped for $35 anywhere within Australia, with an additional $5 added for each extra product purchased through our online store - select shipping option > SMALL ARTWORK AUSTRALIA WIDE FLAT RATE at the checkout.
All online artwork sales are final and no refunds or returns will be accepted.
