I am an Australian artist based in South Gippsland, Victoria, working primarily in oil. My practice focuses on still life paintings of Australian native flora. Much of my inspiration comes from my own garden, where I observe native plants growing, flowering, and providing habitat for local birds and insects.

I am drawn to the character and structural beauty of native plants, often developing compositions from memory and imagination rather than direct observation. Where Joy Rests reflects this way of working - a calm, considered arrangement that values balance, space, and restraint.

Rather than dramatic gesture, I am interested in stillness and subtle presence. Through this work, I aim to offer a moment of pause, inviting the viewer to slow down and notice the quiet beauty of familiar natural forms.
