Contact us about personal payment plans and Layby.
I’m a Sydney-based contemporary artist, painting urban landscape and portraiture. An instinctual self-taught artist, my painting practice follows an award-winning career as a sound designer for television and film. My practice is informed by observations of emptiness or disquiet within the constructed world and I aim to evoke an emotional response, or sometimes a smile, through much of my work. I explore how and where we live, inviting the viewer to add their own story. My work often responds to the personal isolation that can be hidden, or ignored, in the urban and suburban environments.
2025 Finalist - Wollongong Art Prize
2024 Finalist - MAP Portrait Prize - Mudgee Art Precinct
2024 Finalist - Lethbridge Landscape Prize-Salon des Refusés
2024 Finalist - Harden Art Prize
2022 Finalist - Paddington Art Prize
“Around the Corner” explores the quiet urban rhythms, the simplified architecture and play of light on this corner showroom. I enjoy finding beauty in the mundane and quiet corners of the city. Shadows fall over the street as they always have, a reminder of all the previous lives and stories that once filled this space.
