Allison Taplin, based in the Macedon Ranges region of Victoria, Australia, is a talented artist known for her serene Australian landscape oil paintings. Specialising in textural landscapes with big blue skies and soft pink clouds, her works capture the peaceful beauty of the Australian countryside. Allison’s journey as an artist began as a form of bereavement therapy after the loss of her son. Painting became her solace, and today, she continues to create in his memory from her intimate studio, Little Leif Studio. Despite working full-time as a registered nurse in a metropolitan hospital, Allison dedicates her spare time to painting, drawing inspiration from the diverse and breathtaking landscapes around her.
