Dee Roberts is a full-time Australian artist based in the Central Tablelands of NSW. Raised on a rural property, Dee draws deep inspiration from the land and seasons around her. Her oil paintings celebrate the quiet beauty of the Oberon region, where rolling hills and cool-climate gardens burst into life each spring. Blossoms, fresh foliage, and shifting light become recurring motifs, capturing the renewal and magic of the Australian landscape.
Dee’s painterly style reflects both her technical training and her intimate connection to place. She studied at the National Art School, TAFE, and Willoughby Art Centre, exploring drawing, ceramics, printmaking, and painting. Alongside her art practice, Dee built a distinguished career as a Conservator, working at Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum, Hazelhurst Regional Gallery, NSW Parliament House, and Sydney University Art Gallery. This unique background brings depth and sensitivity to her work, balancing preservation with creativity.
