Sue O'Harte lives on the northern beaches of Sydney. Sue paints both landscape and still life. Her landscapes are inspired by the rocks, water and bush in her local area. Sue's still life paintings are influenced by the Dutch masters and she uses the vessels and objects that she has collected over many years to depict still life moments.
This series is inspired by the kinds of jugs that have been used in the preparation of food over many centuries. The bold colours and strong form of the jugs compliments the vibrancy of the fruit.
