Artwork Photography and Instagram for Artists Workshop

Before the gallery opened for business this year I taught a brand new workshop for artists and creatives, “How to Photograph Your Artwork with a Smartphone” and “Instagram for Artists”.

I have attended several Instagram workshops myself and paid quite a lot of money for them. I have learnt a few tricks but most of the information I was given, I already knew from extensive reading. This brand new workshop at The Corner Store Gallery has a big focus on VALUE and and is very practical and “hands-on”.

We had a lovely small group of local artists for our first session and the ladies walked away very satisfied! We spend over an hour taking photographs and editing them. I took them through my exact step-by-step process of taking photos and editing them CORRECTLY.

Everyone received a personalised “critique” on their Instagram feed, we analysed our favourite accounts and then put all of that into practice to finish off the class.
