In preparation for our next exhibition Floating Land I'd like to revisit our 2016 studio visit with Fiona Chandler. Fiona exhibited with us back in 2016 with Cowra based artist Shani Nottingham for Conversations in Colour. I visited Fiona at her beautiful home studio in Freshwater NSW to find out more about her practice at the time.

Her current series focusses on the land and skyscapes of the Central West, and the ever-familiar clouds we find gracing our skies. Each scene Fiona has captured transports you right to that place, I for one feel a strong nostalgia for the late Autumn sunsets driving from Orange to Bathurst.

Read MoreTracy Dickason is a Sydney based ceramicist and illustrator with THE MOST AMAZING SPACE to work in! Her bright and airy family apartment sits atop a sandstone cliff just above a beautiful Australian beach! Warm sunlight floods the corner in which Tracy works. Her delicate porcelain vessels and sculptures adorn a wooden chest while half-finished illustrations and drawings are scattered about the room.
Read MoreAlexandra Frasersmith uses the most beautiful coloured glass to create her clever textural pieces. Deep cobalt blues fade into pale turquoise and range through to orange and purple. She creates functional objects as well as more abstract sculptural pieces. All of the above will be on display as part of her new exhibition Cast Emotion at The Corner Store Gallery this Spring.
