Horse, rider, dog and stock form a quiet holding pattern - circling and gathering within vast, enduring country. By stripping back detail, the painting emphasises scale and rhythm, exploring how fleeting acts of
labour animate space, while the land itself remains Alli Geers is an Australian contemporary artist based in rural New South Wales. Drawing inspiration from life on the land, her bold, minimalist paintings explore the movement, character and spirit of horses and the Australian landscape.

Geers was a finalist in the 2026 Harden Art Prize, with her work also selected for the 2026 Salon des Refusés exhibition of the Tattersall's Landscape Art Prize. Her work has been featured in British Vogue and House & Garden UK, and is held in private collections throughout Australia and internationally.
