Katherine Carson is an Australian landscape artist based in Northern NSW, whose work captures the beauty of the natural environment through light, colour, and atmosphere. Working primarily in oils, she uses a strong foundation in design, value, and drawing to create evocative interpretations of diverse landscapes. Her practice focuses on balancing observation with painterly sensitivity. Through her work, Katherine aims to encourage a deeper connection to the natural world and an appreciation of its quiet, changing moods. She holds a Diploma of Art from Meadowbank TAFE and has further developed her practice through workshops with established Australian artists and many years of self study. Katherine has exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions and has received multiple awards for her work.
