Sophie Cork is a contemporary artist based in Orange, NSW, whose vibrant paintings celebrate the colour, nostalgia, and charm of Australian life. Her work captures familiar scenes such as backyards, verandahs of old homes, and retro motels, reimagining them with bold palettes and playful compositions.
Drawing on her rural upbringing in Boorowa, her love of cricket, and time spent living in Sydney, Paris, and Brighton, Sophie creates paintings that reflect both personal memory and the shared character of regional Australia.
