Rachel Melchers is an Australian contemporary artist creating bold, expressive abstract landscape paintings that capture the emotional and sensory experience of nature. Known for her vibrant use of colour, layered textures, and intuitive mark-making, Rachel’s original artworks bring movement, energy, and atmosphere into any space.
Working from her studio in Mudgee, NSW, Rachel is inspired by the rolling hills and open skies of the surrounding countryside, as well as the coastal landscapes of Newcastle where she grew up. These natural environments, rich with personal connection, serve as the foundation for her abstracted interpretations of place and memory.
